Constructed by skilled Amish craftsmen using solid Wormy Maple (top) and Character Walnut on aprons and legs. The overall style of this particular table is reminiscent of the classic Shaker design emphasizing elegance through simplicity.Notice the Bread Board Top design? A ?Bread-Board? top is constructed with end caps finger jointed and doweled onto the ends of the table tops. This is as in the finger grip on a kitchen bread board pull out. This is an attractive detail often imitated with veneer overlay to stimulate this design. When we do a bread-board top, it?s authentic. A real floating doweled end cap.
