This 37" Kitchen Island is proudly made in the United States by highly experienced Amish Craftsmen. The kitchen top is elegantly made in character Quarter-sawn White Oak with 1 ?? thick rough sawn breadboard ends. A ?Bread-Board? top is constructed with end caps finger jointed and doweled onto the ends of the table tops. This is as in the finger grip on a kitchen bread board pull out. This is an attractive detail often imitated with veneer overlay to stimulate this design. When we do a bread-board top, it?s authentic. It is a real floating doweled end cap.The base is made out of solid Quartersawn white oak. It has double sided doors for easy access to the cookware. It has two drawers but one of them is a false drawer. The usable drawer is with a full extension glides and made with dovetail joints. Admire the raised panel doors and sides that gives this an extra added details on the unit.
