Amish Crafted Solid Wood FurnitureThis Amish Hickory Double Rocker is exceptionally unique not only because of its authentic antique design but also because it is made from the hardest of all North American hardwood, this furniture is constructed from the suckers of Hickory trees - a material that is harvested limitedly in certain seasons, and a material that looks different from one piece to the next - giving this chair its own unique character. The durability of this furniture is further enhanced with the addition of solid 1/4 sawn white oak (shown) used as the primary support, frame and seat.

This exceptionally rocker also features a sealed conversion varnish that protects this elegant piece from water, oil, alcohol and even nail polish. In addition, the arcs and roundness of this ergonomic chair are steam bent, and the entire piece is then hand sanded, making it smooth to the touch. It also features full Mortise & Tennon construction in which the joint of solid wood pieces are fitted together like a puzzle and glued together offering superior strength and durability.

Other features of this extremely comfortable rocker include a high back for full shoulder and back support. These features give this furniture not only a refined look but a prestigious feel as well.
