This Hickory/Red Oak Pie Safe is another great addition to our Barn Furniture Collection. It?s a beautiful combination of different woods that gives it a very unique look. Made by highly skilled craftsman and the woods are hand selected and then kiln dried. The three solid red oak shelves are adjustable. It will accommodate all of your food storing needs. This is an example design of ingenuity that we can offer here at Barn Furniture.

A note about Hickory?
Hickory saplings, which grow under the much larger hickory trees and are naturally, starved for sunlight, usually reach only two or three inches diameters. But because of the tremendous inward growth, which can be anywhere from 20- 50 years, hickory twigs are incredibly dense and strong.
