in the solid oak and other select hardwoods used in their pieces.

Amish Construction
Our Simply Amish collection is constructed with sturdy, solid White
Oak and select hardwoods. Known as being hard and strong, White Oak
provides outstanding wear-resistance. It has a course texture that
varies in color from light tan to nearly white or light gray. Our
White Oak is also quarter sawn for a unique aesthetic appeal. The
Simply Amish collection is constructed using dovetail joints.
The
solid drawers feature these joints on both the front and back of the
drawer so that they never lose their shape. In addition, drawer slides
are concealed beneath the drawer, so that the dovetail joinery is
always in full view. The rollers are self-lubricating to ensure that
the drawer will run smoothly time after time. Selected units feature
Smartslides, which are heavy-duty slides that fully extend to view
everything in a drawer. Smartslides include a concealed spring-loaded
system that allows the drawer to easily self-close when it is 1 ΒΌ"
from the cabinet and stay retracted until pulled again. All tables
from the Simply Amish collection are sealed on the bottom to prevent
warping and feature smooth-running hardware.
