This striking and exceptional Greene & Greene Amish 24” x 30” Bookcase is hand made by the Amish Craftsman and it is made out of individually hewn solid Pennsylvania Cherry wood planks with through tenons and exposed ebony square dowel pin joints. This bookcase is exceptionally unique not only because of its genuine antique design, but because it is made from the hardest of all North American hardwood. The elaborate woodwork of this piece is typical of that seen in the Gamble House of Pasadena, California. This classic and timeless bookcase is a hallmark of the contributions to the Arts & Crafts movement.

Every surface of this piece is gently smoothed and rounded to the touch without sharp corners or edges. It features a sealed conversion varnish that protects this piece from water, oil, alcohol and even nail polish.
